Great Northern Divers
The Great Northern Diver used to be called the Common Loon in North America, but is now called the Great Northern Loon. It is the State Bird of Minnesota and the Provincial Bird of Ontario. It appears on the dollar coin of Canada, called a Loony or Loonie.
